NetWorks

Structures Management supports all network domains that utilize manholes, trenches, poles, towers and strand deployments required to build blended fiber, copper, coax networks.

Telecom engineers can identify duct capacity and usage information to determine the optimal cable route between two access points. Once the duct route has been located the user can assign the cable (fiber, copper, coax) to all ducts within the route.

Duct paths are identified based on trace criteria such as duct size, availability, length, or ownership. Foreign-owned cable and reserved capacity, critical to analyzing capacity, are recognized and used when determining the optimal duct path.

Structures Management includes the ability to:

  • Network inventory and documentation of aerial and underground structures
  • Inner ducts
  • Manhole diagrams
  • Duct occupancy diagrams
  • End-to-End, Bi-directional trace
  • Duct capacity analysis
